Basel Area & InnoJura – A rich breeding ground for innovation & collaboration
At Oceans.ai, our mission has always been clear: help industrial companies unlock the full value of their operational data through advanced analytics and prognostic intelligence. Initially we chose to focus on only industrial inspections ( or Non destructive Testing- NDT), but in time we realised that the value we deliver had to be much more impactful and incremental in value. We had begun our journey to embark on a pivotal transformation to address this.
We also realized that delivering real impact in Industry 4.0 requires more than a single technology—it requires the right ecosystem.
That insight and the consultative advice of the InnoJura accelerator program us to collaborate with two other innovative SWISS startups, Columba Link and DXAN.
The InnoJura program gave us the right platform and the right environment of Industry digitalisation and industry 4.0 focused solutions, with the right coaching and interventions to enable us to put together a value proposition that is greater than the sum of its parts.
Each of our companies brings a distinct capability to the table. Columba Link provides secure sensors and IoT infrastructure that capture critical operational, context data and environment data. At oceans.ai, we focus on tools ( field and management) that enable powerful historical contextualisation, data corroboration, consolidation and structuring of data into usable data sets for corroborative and prognostic intelligence . DXAN, transforms those data streams and data contexts into prognostic insights using advanced algorithms and analytics tools on a continuous and incremental basis.
Together, we delivered a unified approach that delivers an end-to-end solution—from data capture, to data consolidation, to data intelligence.
The result is Asset DOC ( provisional name), a collaborative offering designed to help industrial organisations progressively monitor assets, understand operational performance in the context of environmental and historical data, and anticipate issues before they occur. Instead of fragmented tools and data-sets , customers benefit from an integrated solution that turns raw machine data into prognostic and preventive decision support platform.
Our collaboration was first demonstrated at the BE 5.0 Industries du Futur 2025 in Mulhouse, where we showcased how real-time sensor data can be captured, contextualised, corroborated, processed, and analyzed to reveal valuable operational insights. We aim to use this as a launch pad for Use cases targeting Wind Farms, Chemical Industries, Food processing and Oil and Gas. The specialised use-cases for these industries are work in progress.
For Oceans.ai, this partnership reflects a simple belief: the future of industrial intelligence is collaborative. By combining complementary expertise, we can deliver more powerful solutions and accelerate the digital transformation of industry.
